Jellyfish Jam is the 15th episode of the hit series: Spongebob Squarepants. The episode begins with Spongebob hunting jellyfish in Jellyfish Fields. He discuses himself as a rock, and catches a jellyfish. He begins to pull the jelly's legs for its jelly to put on a piece of bread in the same style as getting milk from a cow. Spongebob eats the piece of bread, and walks away. The jelly gives Spongebob his glasses that he forgot, but doesn't return back and continues to follow Spongebob. After telling the jelly that he has to stay in Jellyfish Fields several times, Spongebob gives in to the jelly and takes him home with him. Then, as he is walking by Squidward's House, he calls for him to meet the jelly. Squidward exclaims that the jelly isn't a pet but a wild animal, causing Spongebob to show off the jelly's tricks, including its ability to play fetch, count, play dead, read, and even its toilet-training ability. Spongebob proceeds to walk to his home saying that he and the jelly were to have fun. Inside, Spongebob and the jelly dance wildly to loud music for twelve hours lasting well into the night. Spongebob finally decides to stop dancing and go to bed, sparking rebellion of the jelly. After seeing that Spongebob has fallen asleep, the jelly has several other jellyfish come to Spongebob's house, causing Gary to wake up. After spraying him with jelly, hundreds of other jelly's storm in, and have a party. Spongebob wakes up the next morning wondering where his jelly has went. He puts on a robe, and walks down stairs slipping on a pile of jelly. Once he walks into the living room, he finds all of the jelly's in their party. The jellyfish pick him up, using him as a disco ball, until he falls to the ground. He becomes angry saying that the party's over. The jellyfish quickly take control of Spongebob causing an angry Squidward to call Spongebob's house. A jelly answers the phone somehow spraying Squidward with jelly through the telephone in the same style as Gary earlier in the episode. Afterwards, Squidward begins to play his clarinet loudly causing the jellyfish to angrily go into a frenzy stinging Spongebob multiple times before he tells Squidward to play his clarinet better. Squidward responds by tuning his house toward Spongebob's, playing his clarinet into a microphone plugged into two large amplifiers. The jellyfish swarm, and break several pieces of Spongebob's furniture before knocking him down and fly into Squidward's house and zap him numerous times. Squidward walks back to Spongebob's house saying that everyone's a critic while the jellyfish break his clarinet and start a fire with the remainder of it. This enrages an already angry Spongebob, and he tries to take the music player out, but the jellyfish play "tug of war" with him over it. They drop the it causing it to shatter into many pieces. They swarm Spongebob until he and Gary get to the roof of his home. The jellyfish then fly out of Spongebob's home, frantically flying around until Gary begins tapping his two eyes together in a rhythm. After testing it a couple times, Spongebob realizes that the tapping calms the jellyfish. He leads them down and out of his home, and back to Jellyfish Fields. Along the way, he and several other sea creatures including the jellyfish play a tune to the beat of Gary's tapping. In the end, the narrator sums up that Spongebob has learned that wild animals can through wild parties at the expense of others showing Squidward in the bathtub with many jellyfish stings.
